My investigation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals has influenced my thinking because I realized that not everybody has what I have everyday as a basic need, for example some people have to walk miles just for a bucket of water, and I just have to walk into the kitchen and grab a glass and fill it up at the fridge. I have been making sure that I throw away everything I don’t need in the trash and littering and that my family does the same. I have also been offing all the lights in my house when I don’t need them to save electricity.
In the future to help meet the goals, I would start donation drives like, clothing, and canned food. To start these I would figure out where the donations’ destination would be. After I gather all the donations and money I would hand them over to the organizations that help people who live in poverty or people who just can’t afford to purchase things they need.
Even if I do something small, I can still help a group of people, that can be an influence on the world because they are a part of the world. Soon if many people can do what they can to help those in need, it will help the world a lot. If I convince many people in the world by creating and displaying about the 17 Sustainable Development goals, I can have an influence on the world because, people will also create donations and organizations if I pass the information on with help from a few friends. By just passing information on, you can also make a big influence on the world.
